Reflection Application Block

I see so many "Helpers" for using Reflection all through EntLib, EntLibContrib and projects I've seen, it makes me wonder wheter or not a Reflection AppBlock to ease usage of Reflection and Generics by Reflection could be useful.

Any thoughts?

I would say that reflection helpers and generalizing whatever has proven itself usefull makes sense.
However I think that the Common assembly would be the best place to collect these - even if we do not use them in other projects (except for tests :-))

I would be comfortable calling a reasonable collection of "Helpers" a feature as well, though the term application block might set a false expectation.

Fair enough. Common it is.

Do you recommand adding ideas directly into the main branch or do you prefer a Sample-aside approach?

I would say: throw it in the trunk (=main branch)! Please add tests, especially if this isnt even tested indirectly
and yeah - lets make Common a toolbelt for more than EL alone. I might have some to contrib there as well - i reckon most of us do.
